Not worth harming your baby. Remember just because nothing happened to the baby when someone else did it doesn't mean you will get just as lucky. Also remember baby will be here soon regardless, you wont be pregnant forever. You went this long, whats a few weeks more at the most?

I was 38 weeks 3 days when I took it. I was 90% effaced and 4 cm dialated and my Dr gave the ok to try to induce labor on my own and she had stripped my membranes 4 days before. so if you're thinking about it, just make sure you get the ok so if it does work the Dr knows to watch out for possible side effects to keep you both safe. but I personally would use it again if I have another child

you're supposed to avoid it but.... I took two shots of it at 9 pm, went to sleep, woke up once to poop at about 1 and had minor cramping, then was jolted awake at 5 am with rest strong contractions that were 1-2 mins apart, went to the hospital, got my water broken and my son was here at 1:03 pm. born perfectly healthy and beautiful (:

don't do it just wait to baby is ready to come

I would just avoid the castor oil. It's not worth the poasible risks.

If you don't know when you are going into labor, how can you know when to clean yourself out? That doctor sounds like an idiot to me. Also, if it winds up putting you into labor you're likely to end up shitting all over the place because you took it.

I'm sure a lot of ppl have. Most wont admit if they did because it's really not a smart thing to do. Most times it doesn't work and just gives you the shits and/or causes complications with the baby
