Feel like this is a stupid question but how would I know if I was in 'true' labour?

Can't help you with the question, but just wanted to say it isn't stupid, I've been thinking the same 😂😯 my mam keeps saying "oh you'll know" isn't helpful. My midwife just agreed with her too. Nightmare xx

you do just know 😂 if you're not sure then you're probably not 😂

@stacey804, I know, I hate the 'you'll know' no I won't unless my waters break! I'm just in so much pain right now. Trying to work out if they are braxton hicks or not xx

Download a contraction timer maybe? Help you time them and get a pattern. Xx

I timed my contractions with a contraction timer app for a while and noticed they was coming in waves every 10 mins. my waters didn't break or anything, just started getting pains in my back and they wasn't going away xx

No, you do know. Braxton hicks are nothing compared to labour contractions. So you will know! Download an app to time them! I found I never used it. As I was too busy dealing with the contractions that were happening but may help for you.
