I am not sure but I heard it it's happening a lot more now because the OB can make more money performing a c section and there's less chance of complications than with a natural delivery

Smh my OB gave me the option for me to choose but that's because I had an emergency c section done before.

my OB with my son was the same she allowed it to be my decision, I was induced and didn't need a c section , but I moved recently and it seems like all the doctors ive looked in to are bad like one doctor was sued for a newborn's shoulder breaking during delivery @lexirosex3

Smh that's crazy girl! If you want to do VBAC you should have the right to do it that's craziness!

This makes me appreciate my OB that much more (I love him to begin with). He will do everything in his power to NOT do a c-section. My last delivery is a testimony to that, when all other OB's would have cut me open, he gave me an additional 2 hours to progress and ended up with a vacuum assisted vaginal birth. The thought of a c section terrified me.

well I don't need vbac , I've never had a c section , and I don't want one with this baby either unless medically necessary, my sister has had two and it just seems so painful and too much recovery, after giving birth to my son two days later I felt like I never had a baby lol

My doctor has never even mentioned or offer me the choice to do a csection. The only time it was ever talked about was at my last appointment, and I brought it up asking her what will happen if I don't dilate even if I get induce. My mom had to have a csection with both my sister and I cuz she wouldn't dilate and my body is built the same way she is.
