I had my son in the water at a month old. babies loose their natural swim ability after a certain amount of time. my son loved the water and hr still does Now!! go for it :)) I had my son in my arms the whole time and in a floatie at 2 months old. he laid back and loved every second!!! @kendricsmommy

@hermommy, of course I'm gonna hold him & he'll have plenty sunblock on too. lol We'll be in the baby pool most the time we're there & the water is like a foot deep. He should be fine.

No. The youngest they even sell safe water floaties for kids is 9 months. Or you would need to go to a professional swim class. It's up to you, but isn't wise.
