Hi, how old is your baby?

He's almost three weeks

I found it really hard in the beginning and it hurt like hell. When he was about 5 weeks I stretched the feeds out a bit

How do you stretch the feeds out?

Just during the day, made him wait a bit longer 😁 he got used to it quickly. So I feed 4 times a day now at the same time. They learn to feed longer rather than having quick little feeds all day long.

I would wake him at 7 so I could start getting a routine, then feed at 7.30 then back down for sleep at 8.15-9.45 when he was that age then feed at 11 back down at 12-2.30 feed at 2.45, nap at 4.15 for an hour then play, bath, massage and feed at 6.30 before bed at 7. I worked pretty hard for a good month or two to get that routine.

Wasn't easy but makes my life a bit easier now and he loves his routine.
