I'll explain it best as I can lol. Breastfed babies will drink their milk from the boobie and once they're done, they'll just suckle a little more for comfort. But when they drink from a bottle, milk will come out every time they suck on it. So they'll automatically drink it all. It can cause their stomachs to stretch out faster and they'll be wanting more and more every time. I know this, cause when I had my first, I did that. FTM and not knowing anything... I'm also sure, that's why my baby girl had colic when she was a baby and she spit up almost everything she drank from the bottle. Of course it's good when a baby is a good eater, but maybe try a little less milk?
@kysonsmommy27, no problem. When I was pregnant with my baby I did tons of research on breastfeeding and formula and bottle feeding as well. So I've read this a while ago. I EBF, so if I happen to make a bottle from pumped milk, I make sure it's not more than 5oz. Also, what I recommend to every mom I meet lol, get the app "the wonder weeks" or the book or a similar book. I sometimes mistake my babies fussiness with being hungry, but then I look in the book and he has a growth spurt or something. In the app or the book, it's almost like a baby manual, it'll tell u exactly what happens at week 12 or week 19 and its sooooo accurate. So I read ahead, just to know when the next "leap" is coming and then I'm prepared
