If you are comfortable sleeping on your back do so I did with my daughter and do with this one but they say the pressure from the baby can cause back problems when you lay on your back but I haven't found that to be true

i sleep on my back and I have had back issues since I was a kid because my baby girl hates me sleeping on my side

I have scoliosis as well but it's best to sleep in the position you are most comfortable in

@babyj0916, the reason you aren't supposed to sleep on your back is because it could cut circulation to your heart and to your baby.
