is an excersaucer appropriate for a 4.5 month old? he can hold his head pretty well but I'm not sure about the bouncing around that he'll probably do in it..
Wasn't thinking of the head control. My little ones is pretty good, steady. That's why I went for it. He reaches the floor with his toes, so he isn't standing
I definitely do want to invest in one for sure. I'm ALWAYS doing tummy time with him. have been for a couple months bc of course at first he hated it lol and I did too bc I was afraid to roll him over. and also, I didn't know you were supposed to do that with babies. I honestly didn't know how they gained neck strength as dumb as that sounds. 😞 FTM...can u tell? lol @myjulyprincesseli
You could always try and see how it goes and if you see him slouching then I'd wait .. And also I wouldn't leave him in too long :) good luck
ok thank you ladies. I don't think his head control is 100% yet. not too incredibly wobbly but not 100% yet. I think I'll wait. 😃 @motherlotus @myjulyprincesseli @bri28
^^ yes and because baby's hips and legs aren't totally ready for that yet, try not to let them stay in it for longer than like 20 minutes
Make sure your baby really does have real good head control because it can hurt their necks since their head is still big for they're body .. My girl was already sitting on her own and everything she was pretty strong without a wobbly head so I went for it .. But i say if your baby doesn't have 100% control I wouldn't place the baby in the saucer
Lol ! Yes could tell ! But hey that's how we all learn to be moms ! Day by day. Pinterest and Google are your best friends when it comes to looking up things you can teach your baby and at what age that's how I learned what to do .. And so far it's been going great for us (:
