How do you even shop for the baby if you don't know what is it until birth ?

With my second we decided not to find out. We bought nuetral colored clothes or nuetral stuff. However we did buy 2 coming home outfits 1 for a girl 1 for a boy. It was the greatest surprise EVER when the doctor said congrats its a boy! My stepsister did the same with her second but because they knew it was their last. She has horrible pregnancies. I think its a wonderful idea!

@quansmommyy, gender-neutral big items, which I already bought purple and gray big items for my first daughter… So I know they will work for my second child the matter what gender. And then I will only get basics for clothes, and shop for more clothes once the baby is here. Everybody in my hometown is doing it where they don't find out the gender until birth… That's how people did it only 30 years ago… It can be done.(;

@twinsmama16, awe!! What a fun story… that's exactly what I'm planning on doing! I found the most adorable swaddle blanket that is covered and the babies name! I plan on buying one for the boy and one for the girl name.
