What a crap start to the day. So I'm on fragmin injections and aspirin. Plus lanzoprazole to stop me getting an ulcer. All week I've been feeling rough tired and sick a lot. Woke at 5 feeling like someone was stabbing me in my stomach lining. Yup I've got another bloody ulcer! Have to stop my aspirin and see consultant on the 4th July. I'm on it because I have a clotting issue and 3 out of 4 pregnancies I have had one with hellp syndrome and 3 with pre eclampsia two babies needing to be delivered before term. My 4th baby at 37 weeks I suddenly got too sick to continue my pregnancy. The consultant was hopeful aspirin as well as fragmin would reduce this! ( I was only on fragmin before and it still happened) and I seem to get more unstable the earlier in pregnancy I am now. So now I'm bloody worrying about getting sick again at 28 plus weeks. I also have one of my babies had iugr. So fed up now! I really had high hopes this time but just 8 weeks into aspirin treatment I get an ulcer again! Explains why I have been complaining of pain in my tummy and feeling sick if I don't eat all the time. Pain only goes if I eat only to return a hour or so later. Praying I don't end up really sick this time as the last ulcer I had at Christmas I was ill for two weeks. Has anyone else had an ulcer on aspirin or similar? They think I may be able to re start for the last part of my pregnancy if my ulcer heals but it's up to consultant. And they were worried this might happen to begin with! Just my luck. Least I might start feeling better soon. On plus note I lost 2 lb this week feeling crappy. Lol
