I didn't buy anything till after my baby shower

Don't stress love! I'm 37 weeks on Tuesday and we JUST went out and bought what we needed. We still have like three other things to buy

@babycharlie072016, exactly thanks at least I'm not the only one she just made it seem like I don't care of I'm not happy but I am. My baby shower is 2months before my due date that is for a reason so I don't have to rush. How far was yours from your due date?

I had my shower April 30th.. I'm due July 2nd so practically 2 months before I was/am due

I got all my big stuff at my shower... Crib, car seat, swing, changing table.. All I had to buy was bottles an soaps... Literally an fitted sheets for the crib mattress... @desk 720

aww cool Im due Oct.7 lol me and my fiance decided we don't Want to have a baby shower but ppl are still buying things for us as well , I recently put the travel system crib pack and play on layaway so I have 90 days & the bulk diapers on amazon , if ppl ask what do I want I just tell them like little necessities , bibs blankets , pacifiers etc lol but I think your good Oct, is a min away but it will be here before you know it @desi720

my boyfriends mom has pretty much bought everything before I had a chance to. she got me my crib, glider, changing table, dresser, jogging stroller, carseat with 2 bases and some clothes already and I'm not even to the 1/2 point. she's excited because it's her first grandchild

@kiaaaaj, yea I think if I wasn't having a shower I would start buying things or at least putting it on layaway now. but since I don't know what il get at the shower I see no point in rushing. Maybe il Chang my mind in the next few weeks and we are also moving on the 1st so I rather not have to pack baby stuff for the new house when I can buy it after!

@nightdaughter, that's great I really thought my in laws would be that way but they have definitely disappointed me. They've done things for my BF and I and seemed to be overly excited for us and it's their first grandchild too. But so far nothing I've been trying my best to make them feel including. And I hoped they would at least want to buy a crib if nothing else. Hopefully they turn around soon or maybe their like us and want to see what we get at the shower first.
