all of a sudden my mom doesn't believe in living with eachother before getting married... but her and my step dad dated…

all of a sudden my mom doesn't believe in living with eachother before getting married... but her and my step dad dated eachother for 8 years and lived with eachother those full 8 years until they got married. I told her quit tryna control her children's life because she won't be satisfied until she pushes us all away. her craziness has already pushed my brother away who was a mama's boy 23 years of his life.

In my opinion if you marry someone before living with them for a good while you dunno what you could be getting yourself into... Living with someone shows u every side of them 24/7 I wouldn't wanna marry someone I haven'tlived with & done day to day life with already

I agree. I thought I would marry my ex until we moved together.. me & my bf did move in with eachother early but we knew eachother for years @heidi3581

What would you do? - baby shower SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever, I don't need her, I didn't have this baby for her to raise. I'm married, living on my own and paying all my own expenses.
