I have to get me RH and TDAP shot in 2 weeks. Where are they done at? (Arm? Leg? Hip?) Does it hurt…

TDAP didnt hurt, but the Rh one did burn pretty bad. If you need one after birth, just ask to get it in your IV ☺ no pain

yeah , they do hurt in the butt 😕 But it's over quick, and is sore for a couple days - but just do what I did and consider the little bit of pain a blessing because you know it's because you are choosing to keep your baby safe ☺

Well, I'm not sure if they are going to use your PICC line for birth, most likely they will give you a bigger IV JUST in case you may need a csection (thats what they did to me, it was a huge needle but in my case I ended up needing a section so it worked out) but the after birth one is pretty much the same.

Hmm I wonder what they'll do.. So far they've said I can just use my PICC for birth so well see. I've had HG since week 5. Been on modified bed rest since like week 12 with Zofran pump then IVs that had to be changed every couple days before getting the PICC line and had to have that redone once already. I've had more pain and needles in this pregnancy than anyone should have ever. I'm just so tiered. Hopefully after this round of shots and blood draws I'll be done with needles for awhile :)

The tdap I got in my arm, but it stung after and it was sore for a couple days. What's the Rh ? I was never told about it

RH is in the butt and tdap is in the arm. But I have a negative blood type and never got the RH shot 🤔

I personally didn't think the tdap shot hurt! A lot of people do but I didn't even get sore afterwards

@emkasting, I really hope it doesn't. I have heard it does hurt but like I said above I'm so sick of being in pain!!
