It's kinda like how they swab your throat to check for strep throat, except it's "down there". Not a huge deal!

thwywswab your vagina and butt, I'm surprised he wants to do it at 37 because you could go into labor before hand. That's something that needs to be known fairly early so they can do antibiotics if it's positive. Nothing bad so don't freak out

@madison1497, If you have it and aren't given antibiotics during labor it can make your baby sick.

if you go into labor they always ask these questions "are you GBS positive" I'm sure if you tell them you were never tested they'd give you meds just in case. I had it when I was pregnant.

I had to take keflex already because I had it in my urine, when I did my first pee test. so next appt I'm gonna ask how that works later on?
