So I called out for the first time ever today and my coworker seriously just had the audacity to call me and try to guilt me into coming in by saying my boss & everyone is mad at me for calling out. (They're not, she's full of shit) Seriously I'm 35 weeks pregnant I feel like shit I need to fucking rest. They want me to work til I go into labor but they're trying to make me push myself too hard and it's gonna make me end up taking maternity leave early.

Do what's best for yourself and your baby! I ended up quitting because my job tried to make me feel bad as well. They even cut my hours to the point where it was very clear they no longer wanted to deal with a pregnant person. So inconsiderate. Especially when problems only started AFTER I got pregnant...before I was my boss' favorite 😒

That's so so wrong!!! My job hired me at the beginning of my pregnancy and they were well aware I was pregnant and what they were getting themselves into. Exactly why Im trying not to let myself feel bad! My health & my baby's is way more important than pleasing them. Just can't believe a coworker would go out of her way to make me feel guilty cuz she wants to go home at 1 and not have to stay late to cover me. Lol smh. @dijahhh

You can always go to the EEOC if it doesn't help or get better, I had to do something similar and my last job got in a lot of trouble for it lol
