Hey ladies, I have a question. Do they give you any pain medicine to go home with after you have the baby? I know even if you don't rip you're still really sore and I have a low pain tolerance so was just wondering if they do. THANKS!

@thompsonofficial, just be sure to tell them if you have a low pain tolerance. You may not be in a ton of pain at that moment in the hospital, but sometimes you are once you get home. They gave me hydros last time I gave birth.

I think it depends on your obgyn, my sister got morphine with her first and hydrocodone with her second 😂 and my doctor says she will give what she feels is necessary at that time.
thanks ladies, and yeah im delivering on base and they give ibuprofen for everything even if your on your desth bed so im assuming that'll b the case @kylamommy2016. @twinmommy123
They gave me ibuprofen as well. I tore I got to take home the anti itch spray
I didnt tear and they gave me ibuprofen and a stronger pain med... I dont remember what it was though. I never had to take it. Both of my older sisters were given meds after thier births too.
