I got the ok to come sign the lease and pick up keys to my new mobile home on Friday. one of my friends made a comment saying oh wow I didn't know blacks folks lived in mobile homes i gotta see this! well maybe I'm a little emotional but I think that was very rude. the place is very updated and modern and I don't see a problem with living there. rent is 850 a month for my 3 Bed 2 bath place. so there's nothing cheap about it. .. I'm definitely not extending an invite to her overly judgemental self. ..smh

@mommy_of_02, this is my first time in one. I kinda stumbled across it one day driving by and decided to look at a model. they are very nice and I just can't stand apartments any more. I figured it'll be a good alternative until I'm able to buy a house. I have 3 kids and need the space plus it comes with washer and dryer and no one living on top of me @ashleyandadan

there are some trailers that look better than some houses!!! I think she's just thinking of the stereotypical trailer home like ones that are on TV
