After shots, is it common to have a red bump that feels hot where baby got the shot at??

yes this would happen to my daughter if I didn't massage her legs correctly right after they gave her the shots. you need to massage them even though it will hurt .

yes, you can put a warm cloth, and massage it when you give your baby a bath

Ive never tried but im sure the bump will stay, and it can be sore alot longer. Its basically because they gave the shot so fast that some medicine stayed trapped right there, so you just massage it out

my daughter want able to move her leg without pain for a couple days , and she also got a fever... I learned the hard way because I didn't want to hurt her by massaging it but only made it worse

@reznor, how long did you massage it for before you noticed it gone or a little better? I've been massaging it the past 20 mins and I still feel the bump

your gonna have to massage a few times just do it for a while and do it in a couple hours again..
