My MIL wanted to get me a bassinet but they are so useless to me, she's more than welcome to get one from a second hand store (I've told her this) but I really want a pack n play and the one I want is almost 170$. I have to travel often so this item is a necessity for me. Her daughters keep trying to make me register for a bassinet but it's not gonna happen. Why should you play 100$ for something that only lasts 3 months? A 30$ bouncer would be much better if that's the case. At least it won't take up much space. I don't want to sound spoiled or anything but my family can afford to get me the items I want. Why should I have to ask for something that is useless to me?

so true someone got my daughter a bassinet and she outgrew it in two months I sold it and got her a pack n play so much better

I actually want a bassinet, "Halo" brand, bc it goes upto 30-50 lbs which by that time my baby will be transitioning into their crib. I also have a pack n play with portable napper and changing table for when we do travel. But for staying n bed and having the baby see me, and not having to bend down, but just reach over is a plus for, and the flat surface like a crib, so transition should be a breeze. But I understand, bc ppl are pushing the rock n play on me.

I wouldn't mind one at all if its second hand I just don't want one if its gonna cost too much, and that's such a good deal!!! @torreyyy

At Walmart they have a bassinet for 60 . It's nice , but won't last long . My son is growing fast and long , so pack n play will be better ! Buy it new tho , I bought mine from second hand store and it had a dip in the middle .
