I had one with my first. It was amazing. They had to wake me up from a lovely sleep to say okay time to push πŸ˜‚. It enabled me to push and stop when the midwife instructed preventing any broken flesh!! Going to try and do natural this time. But they are good if you are struggling. Just have to weigh up the risks associated and you can't walk for a few hours after (maybe even catheterised)

i would just stay open to it if you need it. im on baby 4 and had one with number 3 he was a big baby and was the most painful by far, but he was my fav labour as the epidural meant i was calm and in control. xx

I personally wouldn't do it and feel that if you can manage without its worth a try, however that's just my opinion and to each their own, you just have to do what's right for you x

I think like so many things when you're pregnant/have a baby keep an open mind. If you feel like you need one at the time then you can have one, if you feel like you can manage without then don't. Just do whatever is right for you xx

I've had one and my babies was fine. Me personally I'd say don't decide until you're in labour as you might not need it but if you go into labour deciding you're going to need one you might talk yourself into. See how you go.
