nothing really happened when I had it but it all depends on whether ur body is getting ready for birth x

yer after they will give u the gel but they have to leave it i think 12 hours after the pessary 😣 which is annoying x

My cousin had them and they didn't work. Think the success rate is about the same as sweeps xx

My pessary did nothing. But everyone is different so you never know. Good luck xx

I've had both and both didn't work for me. First time they put gel in on mon, tues then pesaary weds nothing. They forced there way through my tight cervix broke waters- nothing again! Put me on drip after them asking me to have section. I refused. Drip up 6 hrs later I gave birth. 8.9oz baby. 3 Rd time I had pesaary did nothing second did nothing but give me horrific cramps constantly down my back and legs like real bad. Forced my waters again through closed cervix. Again nothing. Put me on drip. Not a lot happened. Started contracting 2 hrs later mildly and 15 mins apart. 6 hrs later still it a lot happened. They turned it up and bam got to 4. Then few moments later I said I need to push( was checked 10 mins before at 4cm) they had been warned I do this and one long push she came out 7lb4 @ 37w

I had to be induced with my first baby and the pessary worked in half an hour for me. I'm also going to be induced on Monday if she doesn't come by then... I hope she does though! lol xx
