I don't want a preterm baby by any means so I hope bubba waits a few more weeks before he arrives…

I was 100% effaced at 35 weeks, too. Samira came at 40 weeks 4 days. Lol. Don't stress it.

I'm not stressing it. Not one bit. I know that it doesn't necessarily mean anything. That's why I said it could be weeks, it could be next week. I can still be excited, can't I? @s_r_z_15

I get my first cervix check Monday and part of me still doesn't even want it cuz I know they're going to be like "you're 1 centimeter dialated" and I'm gunna be too excited and then not have her until like 42 weeks😂

Hahaha I'm not getting my hopes up or anything, but it's just exciting to hear that SOMETHING is going on in there. Eli can stay in there as long as he wants to, but I'm like "hey my body can do something it's supposed to do!" 😂 @jleightutt

Girl...I cried becausd it hurt. 😂 He did my GBS swab and then was like "oh I'll check you" and I felt like he was wrist deep in my business. UNCOMFORTABLE. 😒 @jleightutt

Noooo i am so dreading it😭😭😭 i go to a practice so I generally see a different doctor every time so when they told me that they were starting cervix checks at the next appointment I picked my favorite doctor because she's petite and pretty much the nicest lady ever.... So I'm hoping she has tiny hands and will be nice😂 they're doing the gbs swab next week too... Was that bad? Or the cervix check was wayyy worse?

Oh the swab was nothing! I did feel like he was like mixing my vagina though 😂 I love my doctor, he's pretty gentle. It's just the cervix check that sucked a little. I'm pretty sensitive down there at the moment though. He said I was dilated to 1cm, 100% effaced "you are paper thin" and could feel Eli's big ol noggin. It's definitely not pleasant but it's not the worst thing in the world! He checked, said "you could have some spotting after this" and we were done! @jleightutt

Me too girl! I'd like him to stay until I hit at LEAST 38 weeks (June 30th), get to July, but my doctor said that he is pretty confident that IF he were to come early, he'll be just fine with hopefully no NICU time. I need a few more weeks to get ready! 😅 Thanks though love ❤️ @princesssskxo
