I'm researching and realizing i stopped working because hr said disability pays 4 weeks before and 6 weeks after . what she didn't tell me is that my dr had to put me on disability first ! I really hope this doesn't mess up anything I can't jus sit at home not making any money . Any suggestions !???

every state is different but here in CA your doctor has to fill out some forms for disability

id recommend talking to ur doctor and call the disability department and explain the situation

i know here you have about 3 days from when you stopped working to have the dr. note and file for it. Just talk to them

@thompsonofficial, I've called and filed and they took my dr information and was supposed to be sending my employer and dr the forms I just don't know what my dr gonna say

if your Dr don't sign the papers with a proper diagnosis it's not gonna happen I say talk to us Dr about how bad you feel and why you can't work I been home since March I go back to work in November
