In our hospital room!!! They are starting us off with Cervidil tonight then the Pitocin tomorrow…

I would love to know how your experience goes. I'm getting induced on the 26th and my doctor said she would do cervidil first then pitocin the next morning. I'm anxious about getting induced.

I'm already dilated to a 3 so they are going to give me something called citosin (not sure if that's spelled right) around 1 am then going to start the pitocin drip at 6 am

Okay great! Were you already dilated when you went in or the cervidil helped you get to a 3?

@kamiyahj I ended up going into labor myself before they could start the pitocin drip. Dilated pretty fast but his head wasn't in the right position and I guess I have a small pelvis and he didn't like that when I would push sometimes, his heartbeat would drop. We went in for an emergency c secti but he's here =]
