What does it mean when the doctor measures my stomach and they say 36in? The more I think about it…

I have been so confused, I asked for the first time today and the said I measured 36, but to give or take considering the size of moms tummy.

@annaandannalise, I was measuring 36 weeks at my last appt but I was supposed to be 34 weeks. I was told 2 different due dates and the one for 34 weeks stuck until I started measuring 2 weeks ahead again

Tummys grow at different rates quite honestly. I measured 36inches at my 32 week appointment! I go in for my 34 week appointment tomorrow and we'll see if I've grown anymore! Lol

@annaandannalise, my doctor told me I could either be 34 or 36 because I've gotten both those results from ultrasounds and from measuring

@6215teenmom, were measuring the same. I really wish I could get anothdr ultrasound, I would like to see what they say then, and to see her and how big she is now.

@6215teenmom, I think I might as well, Im just not sure if insurance will cover it if its not for a specific reason.

@annaandannalise, well it's important to know when your actually due because you don't want the baby to come too early or too late so it's a medical reason

Ah, good thinking, I never would have thought of that. I think I might call them in a few days and see, or I may just wait until my next ap on the 28th, im just not sure if i an wait that long @6215teenmom
