I just don't have anyone volunteering to do it so I'm taking matters into my own hands. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty lol

none of my family volunteered to throw a shower for me then got mad I didn't ask any of them for help. 😑😑😑 and its in 2 weeks and I don't have anything for it.

I feel like its too late. like my dad for instance, every time I need something from him he doesn't have it but gives my sister money every time she goes over there and deposits money into her account. my mom doesn't have any money. my aunt always asks me for money, my grandparents are paying for my grandmas surgery and i don't want to ask them.

I just had my babyshower this past Saturday that I organized myself. I did all the decorations and centerpieces by myself. I honestly wont do it again though. I'd rather just the baby everything she needs myself, in my case I spent more money on the shower than what I think all the gifts I got are worth. Im not being ungrateful, its just that neither me nor my husband have lots of family so we only had a few people over. Then theres always those people who RSVP and swear up and down they'll attend and dont show up so youre stuck with lots of leftovers...

@carolina71416, sorry that happened to you. I have a huge family who always come through so I know what I spend will be nothing compared to the gifts I get. Every situation is different
