Im a terrible mother. Horrible. I feel so bad. 😭. My daughter woke up around 7:30am, and she usually sleeps until 8:30/9:00ish. So, she's fussing in her crib, and I told my husband, "let her try and sooth herself..". So, I let her "cry it out" for about 10 mins. Then, I was like, "Well. Looks like she's up.", and I got up to go get her out of the crib. When I walked in, I smelled it, and then noticed she had thrown up (apparently quietly) formula ALL over herself, in her hair, and of course all over the crib. I just cried and cried and apologized to her as I gave her a warm bath at 7:30 in the morning. 😭 I just feel SO terrible that I let her "cry it out" for 10 mins, all while she was sitting in her own throw up. God. I'm such a bad Mama. 😭😭😭💔

Not a bad mama at all. There was no way you could have known that's why she was crying. There's nothing wrong with wanting her to learn to self soothe. There's nothing wrong with letting her cry it out, if that's the methods you are choosing works for you and your family. These things happen and I'm sure in our life, we will all have moments where we feel like terrible parents. But you aren't. We've all had our moments and I'm sure we will all have more.
