So upset right now. I buy my daughter good quality clothes and shoes that I spend a good buck on. When she out grows her stuff I always try to find someone who can use them and give the away for free. Now I'm on this app called "offer up" and come across this woman who I gave a garbage bag full of free clothes and shoes to is now selling everything. Now I understand she may need the money but in my eyes you rep what you sew. Like she could've given those clothes to someone else in need like I did to her and God would've provided.

@jjmom12345678, this is the second woman whose done this with the clothes I've given them. I'm no longer giving clothes or shoes away I will just take them to the Salvation Army

salvation army sells them too unfortunately. happened when I lived there and we also had to pay 'rent' after being there 30 days. seems people are only in it for a quick buck these days. smdh. 😔

i say your best bet is to give it to a church or a non profit organization that actually gives the stuff away to people who actually really need it.

Ppl are so shady! I had a lady give me a story about being a disabled single mom who lost her husband so I donated her a bunch of stuff ( most of which I was selling )to help her out. I then seen the stuff on CL with the same stickers I put on them but she was asking more for them. I emailed her and she said well you gave it to me I told her yeah to use because she said she needed it. Apparently needed it to sell wtf. So I told her if she used me for free stuff the least she could do was take my price stickers off as she rips off someone else. I give my stuff to AMVETS now because the proceeds go to disabled veterans.

@amaperalta03, you would think but I think she was just trying to take advantage of the kindness of strangers. Sadly a lot of ppl do that .

they always do that on offer up! they even try to sell the coupons and free formula samples (I gave mine away for free on there). but they're always trying to sell their stuff for the same price they bought it for originally or more, and whenever there is something for free they always try to take it asap from the buyer.

yes! like how tf do you sell coupons? they sell their WIC formula cans,baby food and the formula that comes in the mail.
