Which one is harder to get ur child to stop; Stop sucking thumb or stop using pacifiers?

Both can be equally hard, depending on how long they've done it

I haven't tried either with my son yet because he's not born yet but I did ask all my family members and my SO family members and they said thumb sucking because pacifiers you can throw away and break the habit but they will always have there thumb hope that helps a little (:

I think pacifier is easier, I can slowly remove the existence of the pacifier in my kiddos life I can't do that with her thumb

Pacifier was easy and he was never a thumb sucker

my son took his self off the pacifier at 5 months so that was easy and he never was a thumb sucker he only bites on them

My daughter stopped sucking her thumb at 5 yrs old she started at a few months old. I never believed in pacifiers because I thought those would be hard stop but after dealing with her I will be trying pacifiers out this time.
