Mini-rant: My boyfriend's mom really had the nerve to ask him "Do you and Jenn still talk?" First of all, we're still together and going to raise our child together, just because I'm not around your disrespectful ass and up in your house 24/7 doesn't mean I'm not with your son or "talking" to him, im not around you or talking to you because why would I be somewhere with someone who hasn't parted her lips to say or do anything positive since finding out about our child? And his uncle wanted to get bold and ask are we gonna do any dna testing and is he sure it's his...my child's father and I have known each other since October 2012, been dealing with each other exclusively since October 2013, and been officially together since January 2014, and even when things get tough and we "break up" it was never something where we're doing it to see other people. When I got pregnant he had been staying at my place pretty much exclusively which everyone knows. We're grown ass people, if we truly want to end it and want other people and want to do stuff with others then that will be made known to each other, we're not gonna sit here and cheat and whatnot. Then they wanna sit up in my face when they do see me and smile and act like everything's okay; stupid and disrespectful comments and questions like that alone are why I'll never leave my child around his family without me being present. They never say any of this stuff around me whatsoever, they say it to him when I'm not around and he comes back and let's me know because it really bothers him. They can be disrespectful to each other and whoever else but they're not going to disrespect me or my child. My boyfriend stood up for me which I appreciate especially with things being a little rocky between us right now (nothing that isn't going to be fixed or get better though) and he doesn't have the greatest track record of standing up to his family especially when it comes to me, but it still doesn't make the stuff they say okay.
