My mother and stepfather have decided if someone can get the mother to sign rights over or if the state needs somewhere for the baby to go, they would be more than willing to take her. Apparently ky has a law that says if another person watches your child and supports her for more than 6 months out of the year, they can get legal guardianship and have a say in decisions made until the child is 18, including preventing the child from going back to the birth parents house if they feel it's not good for the baby.

I hope something works out. I hate to see kids in such horrible situations. Especially since they have no control over what kind of parents they have.

@liveitwithlove, she doesn't even have custody of her older child. and this one was born at 27 weeks. who knows what she was doing while pregnant. her baby daddy is a meth addict so there's no telling what she was or still is doing. this is honestly the best thing for her. she needs out of that house and I'm just glad i can get her to a place that is clean and safe and friendly. @liveitwithlove
