I totally understand. I had to stop 3 days ago because my mastitis got so bad, nothing was even coming out. 😔 and the pain to pump was unbearable.

@kaylaskibinski, that's exactly how it's going for me right now!!! It hurts so bad that I'm crying :( tried formula with him and he hates it!!!

@sharonpaige13, I had mastitis in my right breast with my oldest. my lactation specialist told me to pump to help get the infection out

I had to go to the ER and get forcefully pumped, and then given pain medication it got so bad. I couldn't even hold my baby. I'm still recovering. I hope it all works out for you. The formula I put my son on was similac allimentum and he doesn't mind it.

@themommaoffour, I have been linking and after I pump o have him latch to make sure my boobs are getting completely emptied like they told me and it's not getting better!

I hope it doesn't either. I couldn't sleep I would just cry. And cry when trying to feed my son. I hope it gets better for you. Go to your OB and ask to be put on antibiotics to break it up. And then use a heating pad on your boobs.

try a warm compress when you pump. it'll help with the letdown. hopefully it clears up soon @sharonpaige13

@kaylaskibinski, never knew you could use a heating pad?!? What does it do??? And I was literally just on antibiotics and the moment I got off them I got this infection cuz I was on it for my right boob ::

@sharonpaige13, the heating pad will help soften up the masses in your boob and then you can massage the area while it's still hot from the heating pad and it'll help you get the milk out painlessly.
