So I'm trying to figure out how you ladies end up in the Dr's office for hours doing your diabetes testing? I did mine with my routine check up and was in & out within 2 hrs. They took my blood sample, but I haven't received any results and quite frankly probably won't for a few days! It seemed like the guy who takes the samples to the lab was there and she got mine in with the next batch to be sent off... So that was good.

Sometimes the drink makes them throw up, so then they would have to do the three hour one. If there's any complications or the test comes out positive are also reasons.

If the results to the first glucose test was too high they have to go back for another one that is 3 hours.

Okay that makes sense! Thanks girls! I didn't mean to sound insensitive or anything I was just confused because they took my blood and sent me on my way and I thought I was supposed to wait for results right then & there is all. @keepingupwithhenry @maya.rose
