With puppy toys sometimes they just give you meds to soften stool and have you feed then rice and chicken. They do have to do xrays though to make sure that will work. My dog did that when he was like 1. It was around 150 bucks I think.

@1sttimemummy, the problem is last time they said it looked like just plastic and it should pass on its own. But I was in vet school and told them to do surgery because it didn't look right. They didn't find out until mid surgery that it was a giant chunk of concrete and pieces of glass from a lamp she had knocked over. So I know it can be hard to differentiate between what's a threat and what's not on x-rays and that's what I'm worried about. It could get expensive real quick with this puppy because they know she's young and has a problem with swallowing foreign objects.

I'd pay for an X-ray and possibly another surgery if it were my dog 👍🏻 I know baby is coming but lucky for us, we have a lot of time. Plus if you're already spent money on her health before, it's only make sense to do it again. You've already invested a lot of love and money in her for her to go untreated :)

my cat had to have surgery like that when she was only a year and a half old, and I was 19 and had like zero money and a part time job. I did the surgery. but hey, I see pets as part of the family, they are living creatures that you took under your care, so to me that's like asking if I would take my baby to the doctor, I don't have to think about it. I hope you're able to figure something out for your puppy.
