8 weeks+6 days left before my baby boy gets here.... I can't wait, I just hope ppl don't try to do pop ups or try and come over and think they suppose to hold him just because they want to. I will be mean and im never mean but he's my son and im not having it. one welcome home party if you don't come you just have to wait to meet him.

I had a rule that no one could just come over. They had to let us know a week in advance. If they were sick, coughing or anything, they couldn't see my baby. I viewed it as my baby = my rules, however ridiculous everyone thought they were

@awaylaelder, I might just have to because my husband family acts like they can do what they want but don't do what they need to do so I'm like they can try me but I won't be having it

That is how my mother in law was until my husband said do it the way we want or don't see baby.

I feel the same way! I dont really want anyone coming over when I'm trying to get used to my new baby and breastfeed and I know I'll be an emotional wreck! I really want people to wait at least a week before coming to my house! @cjones

Make them listen. Explain that it is your baby and if they want to see baby, they have to follow rules

Oh I will it's just when my husband tell them something they take it as a joke. I never talk to them but this time I will get like a mama bear protecting her cub. @awaylaelder
