usually no earlier than 38 weeks.. some do at 37... never worked with any of my stubborn ass kids . lol

it's not necessary, mine is doing it at 37 (medical reasons) and she explained what it does:)

my doctor won't do it till you're over 39 weeks. they seperate your membrane from the uterus and it's supposed to help with starting labor
