What does it mean when they say your cervix is softening?

It's getting soft to dilate so the baby can come out easier

It's a long process with some women honestly. It could take you 4 weeks to dilate half a centimeter until you go into actual labor

it's actually not early:) you could stay that way and go passed your due date😄 its good you know your body knows what to do, they'll watch you though
