Maybe he is compacted? If he hasn't pooped in a week and he now can't I would think thats a possibility. Perhaps he has IBS with constipation? Poor guy, I hope he can get some relief.

try merilax I had the same issues before I was pregnant I would only go once a week if that it got to the point I had to go to the emergency room cause I was in so much pain from ware i couldn't go they gave me some merilax and it definitely helped it's a power you just put in ware or juice it's tasteless

@gabrielmom21, @mommytoabel ya he has a perscription laxative like merilax. I keep thinking it's ibs but it's literally him holding it in :(

try a suppository or enema u can buy children's of both over the counter now at any drug store just about. That will soften it enough that he can go and it may be something u have to keep on hand. My son has Miralax also and we still sometimes have to use an enema for him cause he just can't go. I honestly believe he just holds it in way to long but those will make him go

These!!! My 4 yr daughter would it for a week. Then when she had no choice to go, her poo would be HUGE and hurt her. I give her 2 a day and now she poops every other day.

I buy a giant thing of them from cost co. But I've seen them at target & Walgreens. They are yummy too 😊
