It's a really simple test

I know I just work 9-5 everyday and I already have trouble taking time off for all my Drs appointments because we're short staffed & bc I can't afford to take a whole morning off. I just don't see the point in taking it at this point. @nic143ole

I haven't yet, but i will decline for this pregnancy. I failed the 1 hr with my last 2 and had to take the 3hr which i passed. I refuse to do it again. I'm very educated about the signs of GD and I also have a monitor at home that i can use to check my sugar every so often to make sure it's on track. You have the right to refuse any treatment or test that you want. Just know the risks/benefits involved with anything you decline. I'll also be declining cervical checks when the time comes.

Considering all my blood tests/urines etc have come back perfect this whole pregnancy and I have 0 symptoms I think I will pass 👍🏻 @nic143ole @arivera64 thanks for the info

Granted the glucose test is different than checking your urine and any other blood tests that you've had and cannot be a good way to indicate any issues with your sugar, like i said it's your choice but just let your provider know that you are opting out of the testing. Be safe and good luck
