I don't have a dog I have a cat but I'd imagine with any pet it's sort of similar, just make sure your dog knows nothing has changed, give him/her the same amount of attention as you normally would and you should be fine! my cat loves my son, watches his every move lol! x

Just make sure she doesn't feel pushed out :) for example, don't tell her off when she goes near the baby and don't shut her out all the time :) you just need to make her see the baby as a positive, like give her loads of attention and praise when she sniffs baby nicely ect xxx

Oh and try to keep her routine the same so it's not too much change for her :)

She comes everywhere with me, even waits until the boyfriend goes to work and jumps on the bed to have a nap with me😂 she's half human sometimes, but thanks for the reply @emmaclark xxx

Yeah, extra biscuits for her then🤓 haha! my mum said she will walk her for the first week I get home and settled. So that's a big help @firsttimemummy21 xxx

just give her loads of attention. my dog was jealous at first but now shes like my daughters little guard dog. where my daughter is my dog is xx

My mum took home a baby grow that my little girl had been wearing before I took her home so he could get her smell and he's perfect with her was so excited when I brought her home and he's normally not to good with new people and defiantly second give them the same amount of attention as before so they don't get jealous
