Just getting home from l&d no type of dilation yet but been having contractions. Checking me for dilation and made the paid so much worse to then send me home

The same thing happened to me. I had two instances where I thought I was having contractions and ended up going to the hospital. The third scare, just a week later, I got admitted and had my son. Hopefully soon!
