caffeine is allowed just not excessive amounts! you can have 200mg a day. a medium iced coffee from McDonalds is 200mg. if he's that concerned maybe get a coke or something to help keep you up. the caffiene is less is sodas than in coffee. I work nights so I try to keep an eye on the caffiene in my choice beverages 😅
