You don't want those emergency bills to start building up on you. I would say wait.

before I had a doc I went twice and neither time did they do an ultrasound. they just checked the heartbeat and sent me on my way. you're probably better off waiting, than wasting time. just my opinion.

I wouldn't go unless your bleeding or cramping. If you have had your blood taken and they aren't concerned I wouldn't go. I know it's exciting it really is but we all have to wait sadly. ER is probably going to look at you funny and make you be there for a long time and just draw your blood not a US. I was lucky and got a US at 6 weeks but I didn't get another til I was 19 weeks and don't get anymore I have to wait until he is born.

Next week is nothing it will go by quickly keep yourself occupied.

Don't waste medical resources. I know it's exciting and you wanna know everything now but you can't. The 17th is less than a week away. You can wait that long. Waiting is all part of pregnancy. You have a lot of waiting left to do. A LOT. They won't even do an ultrasound unless absolutely necessary. I went in for spotting at 17 weeks and they didn't do one, even after some trouble finding his heartbeat. Don't waste the time and energy.

Go to a pregnancy resource center. They will test you and give you an ultrasound for free. I wouldn't waste the ER's time on something that's not an emergency

Why would you go to an emergency room if you have no emergency. Waiting a week isn't going to change anything

I agree with me @kdollarhide. Call tomorrow and get an appointment at a pregnancy resource center near you. They will give you all the reassurance you need. ER bills are outrageously expensive and you don't want to go unless there is a true medical emergency.

She's worried about an ectopic pregnancy @darianweaver @jadasmommy_ that's probably why she wants to go sooner

I mean she said clearly ^^^ up there that there's nothing going on. And that the 17th is just too far away for her liking. If there's no emergency, there is no reason to waste medical professionals' time and the resources other people may need. @canaryv

I'm just saying because I've talked to her a few times and she has very valid reasons to believe that it could be ectopic. She may not be experiencing anything at the moment but that doesn't mean she's not allowed to be worried. She never said it was too far for her liking, in fact she said "I just want to see where the baby is at" meaning she wants to make sure it's not in her tubes. With previous miscarriages and so many scares already I can understand why she'd want to. @darianweaver

I understand the worry, I didn't say she couldn't worry. We all worry. I'm 35 weeks and worry every day. But going to the ER without an emergency isn't the best way to go. There are other resources. I wasn't and I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything. The 17th is Friday. Seems like FOREVER away when you're nervous but you have to wait when you have to wait. @canaryv

True but ectopic pregnancies can be deadly. My sister waited too long to go to the dr when she had one (she didn't know she was pregnant tho) and it caused a lot of bleeding. Almost lost her tube and she's only 18 😐 poor kid. @darianweaver

go on to the ER I had an etopic back in jan luckily they caught it in time it can be life threatening if not treated if thats ur concern GO!! better safe than sorry @kayla2016
