What can i do to get my little guy to gain weight? He's breastfed.

My doctor recommended pumping 2 bottles a day and putting a tablespoon of formula in them. And then breastfeeding the other times. @trayt15

Thats what they told me, but i really dont want to give him formula. @brooke1396

It's just untill they put on some weight. My little guy gained 5 ounces in the first 3 days he was home. @trayt15

Breastfeed every two hours, even at night!

I supplemented with formula at first for only like a week now will be 1 year strong breast feeding on the 22nd :) do what you have to do mama!

breast feed more often. th e more you feed the more you make and the more he will gain. no need in fooling with formula until 100 % necessary

Definitely nurse as much as you can though, baby will get your supply going and regulate it (:
