We pretty much had it set in stone. The thing is is my family doesn't just "choose" godparents like I see a lot of people do. We take it to church. We chose and when time comes to baptize the godparents are there and I believe sign papers as well. We chose my sister and brother in law. Before I met my husband when my niece was a baby I was chosen as her godmother and that's how we did her baptism as well.
I did for my first, he no longer has a godmom just a goddad. Me and my hubby haven't decided on godparents for our second. We're taking a break to find good role models and who will actually do their job.
