The plant itself might be natural but the substances used to cultivate it might not be. That's the reason THC levels are so high today, because we have chemicals that can increase growth and THC levels. All I know is it's a business and the business is to turn a profit therefore increase yield of a potent product. I don't believe weed in its most natural form contains the high levels of THC people are used to smoking these days. Just something to consider. Just going off the "weed is natural" comments. To each their own. People know what they can handle so we have to trust their better judgement. I know of people who suffer severe anxiety and a small toke here and there actually allow them to engage with children. I think that's better than being completely anxiety ridden or zoned out on anxiety meds.
Jamaica has done a ton of research on the effects of smoking mothers in their milk around the kiddos it's not taboo there at all. I'm of the opinion if you educate yourself and keep your baby safe and away from the smoke and don't smoke around them. It's a hell of a lot safer then drinking.
oops sorry, I thought it said while pregnant lol. I worded that weirdly, I meant like women who do choose to smoke while pregnant often use the argument that it's natural but just because something is natural doesn't mean it's safe for baby. Their developing bodies handle substance of any kind much differently than ours. But as far as moms who smoke, I think as long as you're still able to care for your child, you're a responsible adult, & don't do it around your kids then it's not a big deal.
I think regardless of what it is, smoking is smoking. People will argue saying marijuana is all natural but you're still depriving your brain of oxygen which DOES effect baby.
I smoke cannabis for many years now. I agree with you I rather have the world be hight then drunk. but I only smoke at night when my sons sound asleep. but I agree with you 100%. I just wanted to know anyone's views.
Just not around my kid!!! My friend smokes but she always goes outside and doesn't do it around her kid so her kid could breathe that crap in. So that's all good to me. I used to but stopped once I was pregnant.
I did before I got pregnant and haven't done it since but once my son stops breast feeding I will probably do it again every once in a while. I don't see anything wrong with it. As long as you can still take care of your children and get things done, there shouldn't be an issue. I rather do that then drink and get drunk. People are much more stupid when they are drunk
