I'm exactly 40 weeks on Monday and I'm having a sweep and if that doesn't work being booked in to be induced on Thursday or Friday xx

😕 my hospital don't do sweeps until a week past due date so I have to wait until Wednesday for that!! And I won't be induced until 12 days after 😩 xx @zoeelaw

my friend has just suggested using a breast pump to help stimulate the uterus to contract. im giving it a go. maybe worth a try if yr planning on breast feeding @firsttimemummy21 x

@firsttimemummy21, oh yea i forgot. have u tried nipple stimulation. ive just pumped for 5 mins each side and im getting cramps now x

@karenb1601, how can I do nipple stimulation without a pump? I don't think my OH would risk sucking on them!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

u roll the nipple between yr thumb and forefinger back and forth for around 30 mins as many times a day as u like. it apparently releases hormones that cause the uterus to contract similar to breast feeding @firsttimemummy21 x
