This may sound really silly but how do you know when it's contraction for real? Do they come and go every so often and then become more intense and often or once they start do they not stop? I've been having intense period pain and back ache come and go for about 15 mins now but then it's stopped and comes back but doesn't seems as painful as the first set

They come and go and it feels life tightening, at first they'll last about 20-30 seconds every 15-20 mins and last longer, become more painful and come every 5-10 mins and so on @holliesinead x

start timing them! That's how mines started, they where all over the place, if they are coming and going it defo could be contractions :-) @holliesinead xx

mine always start off like mild period cramps which come on in waves. this then intensifies to the point where you have to stop and breathe through them. once you're at that stage @holliesinead then they just get stronger and closer together. you'll know when it's the real deal, don't worry 😉 xxx
