What do you ladies think about GED? I have a lot of schooling still to go and its so hard to even think about getting focused on school with K here now. I have no time and I'm trying to get a job so when I start work I will have even less time to do school work. I feel it would be the better choice to just drop out and go for my GED.. I would rather spend a couple months studying for my GED and getting that instead of going thru months and months and months of schooling. I talked to my advisor today and she thinks I won't graduate till August to September of 2017 because of all the school work I have. Honest opinions please? also some of your stories would be lovely!

not to mention I was supposed to graduate 2015 so I want tog graduate finally.

Any education is an education don't let anyone make you feel less of your education because you got it a different way I dropped out of high school and went to an alternative high school for health reasons and finish my entire senior year in 2months as long as your head is in the right place and you are working for your future then whatever road you take is good 😊

@rylees_mommy, thank you.! I just don't want to make the wrong choice for me and end up pissing around and not getting it. I'm 100% determined now more then ever to graduate because I wanna be a successful mommy!

I have mine and it isn't any different than a regular diploma. I have had no issues getting jobs with it, it is seen as the same thing 😊

I had the worst habit of beating myself up about the school I went to but I had to realize just because I did it a different way I still did it

do what you have to do. GED doesn't make you any less than a person with a hs diploma. I went thru the same thing, I was supposed to graduate May 2015, but because I was so far behind I wouldn't have graduated till May 2017. that was way too much time for me to be waisting when I have children and need to support them. I did some of my GED July 2015, I just have to retake social studies, and I'll be starting Nursing(4years of college) this January. So I say, do it, if you feel that's the right thing to do.

Exactly! I had truancy (from being in and out of the hospital) and they wouldn't let me graduate so the only choice I had was to drop out and do it another way I ended up starting school in September finished in October with all A's and graduate a whole semester early ! As long as you put your mind to it, it will all work out for the better

No not at all. I had a year and a half left of school and I took the test within 2 months of dropping out and passed. Never had to think about it again. I beat myself up about it for a while too but honestly it doesn't matter one bit! I am so happy that I got it and it's over with. That was about 4 years ago.

They have online schooling to get ur high school diploma. Penn foster n Stratford career institute.
