Just a random question because I'm all emotional packing up my daughters clothes and thinking about baby number two. In the future, when I decided to have another, it's pretty clear that I'm going to need another c-section. My pelvis was too small and my daughter was too large the 1st time around. My question is, for all you moms who have had a second c-section: do they ALWAYS make you schedule a appointment/date for the surgery? Because, I don't want to do that. I'd rather go into labor naturally, and then go in for the c-section. I just don't want to schedule a date, when 74% of "due dates" are wrong. What they say may be 40 weeks, may actually only be 37. I just would rather wait until baby is ready before just strolling in ready for a surgery..

that's a good question I had wondered this myself I almost asked about it but I don't think they want you to go into labor as they will be cutting your uterous and if it's contracting it may make things harder or risky just sounds like maybe for that reason but I mean if you waited until like your lost your mucous plug or your water breaks id say that it's a good time not once contractions start@jennatess

sometimes lol bit no really I have thought about it when I was pregnant last I went like 39 and 3 so I figured it was time my first I went into labor has emergency csection but just the whole going into labor and going to the hospital is post of the experience that you miss out on @jennatess

@shann, my first I had two days shy of 42 weeks. And she's the healthiest, chubby thing! Haha. I just like the idea of baby staying in as long as they need. I don't want the pressure of choosing my own due date.

no my doctor told me I didn't pick, there was a day I wanted but was over like 5 days so I just went with the day he said I didn't want to end up going into labor and having problems @jennatess

no pressure really tho if you can do it right on 40 that way there won't be any pressure of day of the month or week, but some doctors will schedule it before 40 weeks @jennatess

@shann, you're absolutely right. I guess I'll just have to wait and seeeeee! ☺️ I have another off the wall question for you! Haha! I see your first two are three years apart. Did you like that age gap when the middle was first born and the oldest was 3? And do you like that age gap now? I'm trying to decided when would be best to have number two.

actually yes I did it just happened that way she was 3 years and 2 months but as they have gotten older they argue more lol but I'd say it's a perfect age gap that way they are close in age but not to much either @jennatess
